Setting Up Oterion

After creating your account, it's time to set up Oterion for your organization. This guide will walk you through the essential configuration steps.
System Requirements
Before you begin, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge - latest versions)
- Internet connection (broadband recommended)
- Screen resolution of at least 1280×720
Initial Configuration
1. Organization Profile
First, complete your organization profile:
- Navigate to Settings > Organization
- Upload your organization logo
- Enter your organization name and details
- Set your timezone and regional preferences
- Save your changes
2. User Management
Next, invite team members to join:
- Go to Settings > Users
- Click "Invite Users"
- Enter email addresses (one per line or separated by commas)
- Select appropriate permission levels
- Customize the invitation message (optional)
- Send invitations
3. Project Templates
Set up project templates for consistent workflow:
- Navigate to Settings > Templates
- Click "Create Template"
- Define template name and description
- Configure default settings
- Save the template
Advanced Configuration
Custom Fields
Create custom fields to capture organization-specific data:
- Go to Settings > Custom Fields
- Click "Add Field"
- Select field type (text, number, date, dropdown, etc.)
- Define field properties (name, description, required/optional)
- Set applicable areas (where the field will appear)
- Save changes
Workflow Automation
Set up automated workflows to increase efficiency:
- Navigate to Settings > Automation
- Click "Create Rule"
